I agree, I looked at zero turns in the past. I think they`re the slickest thing around for mowing, but other than that they`re pretty useless. Going with a small utility with a 3pt your possibilities are so much greater. Most of the newer compacts are foot control hydro, so mowing back and forth or around trees is still pretty fast, easy to adjust speed in the open lawn as well. If your gonna do mostly mowing with it, I`d go with the belly mower over the three point. If your looking at doing alot of different jobs and depending how easily the deck comes off your tractor, maybe the 3 pt finish mower is a better option. Once you have the tractor, you can always rent the 3pt attachments (post hole digger) if they`re gonna be seldom used. I also agree, I`d buy a diesel. Hope this helps Brokenwrench
