Well, you can get more info on these on the Oliver board, as that is what they came from. The 2-105 is a good machine, it uses the same rear end as the 18-1955's but uses a trunion coupler vs. a chain coupler between the over/under and transmission. $3000 is very cheap, but you said the engine needs to be rebuilt so that evens it out some. There are several versions of the 354 Perkins, one version was used in the Oliver 1850 and a later version was used in the White 2-85 (non-turboed) and 2-105 (turbo). Have you had a chance to look it over at all? Hear it run? Does the engine have a miss, smoke really bad, or knock? I don't know what it would run to overhaul one of these, but parts alone could add up to $2000 or more in a hurry, depending on what you do. It would be worth it provided the rest of the tractor is in decent shape.... Donovan from Wisconsin
