O.T. sluggish computer

Last night when trying to get on ytmag it took forever and I gave up.
Tried to clean up a few things on my end but it didn't help.
This morning every thing was just fine with all kinds of speed.
Does this site get over loaded and slow things down or what was going on?
If too many are on does this happen?
If I leave my computer on this site all day while I'm away does it tie it up for someone else?
Other sites where fine.
I've had it happen before but never as bad as last nite.
Just wondering what was going on.

We had a mixed farm consisting of grain and dairy all done with old machinery and by hand.
