ac

I am looking at a 1947 ac model c the manuel i seen shows only a mag. not a dist. with points, this one has points, can anyone shead any light on this did they come both ways,also i"m looking to buy ac decal for hood would like to get something like came on it do i need the vinyl blue letter with the long a & s individual letters. thanks for any help
