Thack, your example is incorrect as both machines were built to US specs and therefore intended to be sold to the US market. Actually, Farmtrac merely bought the rights to the old Ford design. The other definitions are correct: A tractor, usually of similar origin to "US" manufacturer models (JD=Yanmar, NH=Shibura, CC=Misubishi, MF=Iseki...) originally built for, sold to, and used in another country that is then cleaned up, imported, and sold within the US.
