As previously stated the 5003 Deere is for those who are shopping price only and don't care about function. They are ok for pto loads but any serious tractor now is M4WD or stay at home in the house. Avoid the Deere 5000 & 1st half of the 5000 ten series like the plague. As previously stated Deere made a huge mistake retiring the Manheim built 20,30,40,50 & 55 series tractors in 1990. And replacing them with oversize light weight garden tractors. The 5105 and the otherwise identical but "turned up" 5205 in M4WD is were to look. They are beefier than the 5000, ten, twenty & twenty-five series. Cheaper too. Mother Deere also makes loaders cheapskate 512, OK 522 and farmer "resistant" 542 for the 5000 series. I don't know why anyone would purchase the "low price at the expense of everything else" model 512 loader? It doesn't even have the torque tube to prevent the twisting somebody mentioned.
