Since I've had an antique shop since 1976, you would think that I could come up with a good idea to dispose of my own late Mom's antique household. It's hard to see those things go. I considered taking items over to my shop a few pieces at a time, but that would be a long drawn out painful process. Instead, I'm having an auctioneer come, and pack up a load for a sale later in the month. If you have an auction house in the area, sometimes it's easier to just cut loose and let the "tail go with the hide". Either that, or put the things on consignment at a antique mall, where you could control prices. Wish you luck...
