If you don't know what you need to remove the guides, you would be better off to take the head to a qualified machine shop and have them do it. They can magniflux the head and check it for cracks and make sure the seats are ok and grind them. It will save you a lot of headaches. I have done a couple of Int. heads and a machine shop has saved me a lot of time and money.
