Well 2+2s in that series have some known problems. 1) Is the hinge egged out at all? They had some problems at the joint with it wearing out 2) Are the hydrolic pumps good? There should be three. SCVs Power Steering and a third 3) How is the TA? IH"s splitting a 2+2 is a bit easier to get at the TA and clutch. 4) Cab interior? Is the shift linkage tight? For the horsepower they are usually good for the money and if in decent shape in the North East they can bring $12,000-$18,000 for the 3588. Hope this helps.
