I've got 4-5 old tractor (implement) seats in nice shape that I am going to weld up into some stool-type chairs (center pedestal type) and them paint them up. Any suggestions on the best height for them? I see where most chairs at home here are about 18" tall. Is this the best way to make them up or maybe a bit shorter or taller?
