Almena Kansas chapter, Was Sentinel and President. State Farmer 1967. My Dad was made a Honorary Member in 1967. I was honored to present him the plaque. I believe in the Future of Farming, with a faith born not of words, but of deeds, achievments won by past gererations of farmers thru the promise of better days through better ways have lead us to the blesssings we now endure. I believe to live and work on a good farm is pleasant as well as challenging for I have known both the joys and discomforts of farm life and hold an inborn fondness for those associations which I cannot deny. Gee thats all I remember of the creed. The rest will probably come to me at 3 AM. As a greenhand I recited that to the hall. Fond memories. Nice to get them jogged.
