To buy or not to buy

Howdy, Well, I can't believe I'm askin this but I found something out there that's been buggin me for two days now. I have always wanted a John Deere GP and I would still like to find one someday. The point is I don't own one yet. But, I found a fella that has a set of 3 row cultivators for one. The dilema is whether or not to buy them since I don't even own the tractor yet that they would fit on. I know it sounds funny but to those who are familiar with these machines you know how rare a set of cultivators like this are. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Recollections of a John Deere GP - by Charlie Cook. I grew up on my dad's 280 acre general farm in Western Michigan. Dad's only tractor when I was very young was the old GP. My first recollection of this tractor was when dad allowed my brother and myself to ride on the tractor with him driving. One of us would sit on the left fender (away from the clutch) and other would sit on the gas tank and hold onto the crankcase breather pipe.
