I've had a few Border Collies and I think they make about the best
farm dog there is. When I had beef cattle they were a huge help
and a hoot to watch. Calves would duck under the fence and the
dog would see them on the wrong side and take off after them.
They would run the wrong way (away from the fence ) at first and
dog and calf would be off to the races making a big circle as the
calf sought to get back to mamma who was freaking out inside the
fence. Ahh rural entertainment, better than TV!
