Diesel fuel is considered combustible. Gasoline is considered flammable.This is how the DOT list them. Flammable is considered more dangerous. Yes Rusty, I have seen these tanks in pickups. We have one where I spend my daytime hours. It is used for diesel. I know we went through a hassel to get it approved thru our safety department. Has to be grounded and all that. I have seen the duel tanks, only old ones in back of pickups. When you see the tanks in catalogs they tell you they are for combustible fuels only. Not designed for flammable fuels such as gasoline.
