Most "tructor" conversions eliminate the truck rear axle and suspension,with a tractor transaxle fitted to the end of the shortned truck frame. The truck rear driveshaft is coupled to the tractor transmission input shaft,giving a great selection of gears when using both truck and tractor transmission. The tractor pto and transmission mounted hydraulics/three point hitch work normally. A small belt driven hydraulic pump,even a power steering pump will supply enough oil volume and pressure for most live hydraulic duty.
