Since your Dextra has set for a few years, make sure you have fresh diesel fuel, a clean air filter and a fully charged battery. Then there is nothing left, but to try and start it. You may need to give it a little shot of starting fluid, BUT, ONLY USE A LITTLE. Don't be anxious and spray alot, it can cause damage if yiou spray alot and the engine fires.
Also, make sure you injector is primed and work the manual hand pump to perge the air out of the lines.
Then go to it.
I have a 1959 Fordson Major Diesel, and they can be contemptible if they are not timed just right. due to the injector
