Cookies remember things like pass words and such.

Temp internet files really speed things up when you visit the same sites regularly. Copies of the web site are already on your computer so all it down loads is what has changed.

It still maybe a good idea to clear those out to get rid of the parts you dont want, Just takes a little longer to Download your regular sites the 1st time again. Gets rid of all the other junk too.
Hmmm makes me think. I havent done mine for a yaer. I am gona go look.
