The 2010 gassers were decent tractors, and that one looks like a gasser. Also looks like someone retrofitted an alternator to it. Both the Diesels and gassers had the infamous "sleeve-and-deck" cylinder configuration in which the cylinder liners were joined together at the top in a plate that fit between the block and head. The cylinders in this design were harder to seal from the coolant. The vibrations would eventually cause lower liner seal failure in the Diesels. The gassers held up as well as anything else so this was mainly a Diesel issue. Also, the sleeve-and-deck design cost more for overhaul parts. Deere changed this design in 1965 when they went to the 2020 design which had conventional wet sleeves and a different chassis design. That said, if the tractor is in good mechanical shape, it should make you a good little rig for the price (maybe you can deal them down a little armed with some knowledge about the tractor). It is 45 HP so if that is the size range you are happy with it should make a decent rig. That is big enough for a haying tractor and brush hogging with a 5 or 6 foot cutter.
