Also check Gross Vehicle Weight Rating on the tag on the door jam. GVWR = weight of truck + passangers + anthing else in the truck + the tongue weight of the trailer. Also, owners manual or door tag should have a combined GVWR = i.e. all of the above plus the weight of the trailer and what is on the trailer.
