I had a similar problem with the seat on my 1600 Oliver, I work at a machins shop so I got a chunk of plastic and made some new rollers myself. The old ones were black, really hard, squooshed flat and didn't turn at all. What I used was a white nylon I think, so far so good. Doesn't take much, maybe a friend w/ access and a case of beer....
