Hi Slo, put it together and run it. If it were mine and I was not so lazy, I would open up the ring grooves to clean them up and get custom rings made to get the side clearance right. And maybe a heavy knurle on the pistons. It's the same old "nowhere to stop" syndrome, do you close your eyes and throw it together or empty your savings for something you don't need and won't use. How is your Allis coming? Bill
