Incase, If you would like to read the how and why of cast iron welding that is written by a fellow who does much cast repair rather than by someone who is in the biz of selling welding supplies, you should read the link below .It is written by Gary Reed who not only welds cast (mostly oxy/ acetylene) and who designed and patented the lock-n-stitch repair tools.
