My Dad grew strawberries in Northern Wisconsin. He tried all types of different vegetable crops. Found the strawberries were the highest yield per acre of all. They are a lot of work but you can do ok with them. You must have irrigation. Sold some to stores in the area but then went to just �pick your own�. You don�t get as much for them that way but there is much less hassle with labor, delivery, store needs etc. By the way I still have lots of irrigation pipe for sale that was used for the strawberries if someone is in need.
