I agree with Mike, the flywheel, its outer diameter and especially including its weight (inside diameter must match crank size and splines etc., of course) is a complex and critical factor when it comes to the mechanical engineering of balance and dynamics of it and the crankshaft and pistons its controlling. And dont forget the harmonic balancing thats going on between the purposely built out of balance flywheel and the out of balance clutch drive disk over there on the other side. Those out of balance counterweights MUST be exactly 180 opposite from each other or its major vibration city like what happens when a clutch is replaced and the clutch drive disk doesnt get reinstaleld in time !!!!!!!! We are talking about the John Deere A and B Models right??? John T
