Did you torque the head in the proper sequence, in three steps? Did you use a torque wrench? Did you check--or have someone check--the head with a straightedge to see if it was warped? Did you actually check the compression with a compression gauge, or does it simply crank like there's no compression? Was your headgasket marked "top" on the top surface, and are you 100% sure you installed it that way? Please don't get offended at these questions. Long-distance diagnosis is an inexact science at best, and without actually seeing what was done and how it was done, one can only guess what might have gone wrong and ask questions.
