Bob,I've got a question as I replaced my lift pump on my 6.5 diesel yesterday. The old pump wouldn't run. If the oil pressure switch powers the lift pump how can the lift pun run with key switch on and engine off(no oil pressure)? Does one of the wires on lift pump ground at oil pressure switch? I don't have access to a tech. manual. In reply to start/die a mechanic told a faulty ign. switch could cause this problem also. Thanks,Tx Jim
