We have gotten rid of many kinds of bees by using a bug zapper placed as close as possible and then from a distance with a long pole smaking the nest up. A good exit plan may well be in order. We have a form oiler that holds 10 gallon of fuel oil and old oil 1/2 & 1/2 with a good air compressor hooked on at about 120# to oil down the nest and the wings of anything trying to leave the nest. A cloudy day or real early morning game plan is in order. If they are in the ground you can throw a chunk of screen over the hole before you start the oil process for a speed bump as they come out.
