Kinda off topic, but... I was putting rear tires on my buddy's 87 Grand Am years ago and found three large pieces of steel in the old tire. I am not sure how they got there but they did surprisingly little damage. They must have been in there when the tire was mounted, but why weren't they noticed? How did it balance? I did not check to see if the tire had any previous repairs. Just one of those things. Aaron
