I'm not a huge ford fan, but they are darn handy for little jobs. You can get a bigger tractor cheaper, but it wont work as well for small jobs like you need done. $2k would likely be enough for an 8n but in my opinion you are better off spending a little more and getting an NAA or 600. I have an NAA as well as several bigger tractors, but in tight areas the Ford is the way to go.
