Hello, I have a 7' rake that will swivel and turn around. I would not buy one with out it. I use it pulling when raking. However, when I have piled a bunch of material around like roots and such, the hill gets to big to drive the tractor over and not hit the mound with the rake. I get all the material close by, reverse the rake and push it in the pile. Then, I take the front loader and push the material into it, or reverse into the pile and push it to the burn area or the street. George
