I'll give it a shot. The key sounds like the motor turns over for 3 seconds and stops turning whether you're pull-starting or battery-starting. Normally when there's a liquid lock in a cylinder, the engine stops turning rather suddenly and with a clunk. This sounds like something is loading up the engine and after 3 seconds the starter can no longer overcome the force. If the engine has a direct-drive hydraulic pump, have you checked that the relief valve is opening? If the relief valve was stuck closed, that would cause a hydraulic lock to build up in the pump, stopping the engine. Are the hydraulic control valves in the closed or neutral position? If they were opened in the up position and whatever you were trying to lift could cause a large hydraulic load on the engine if heavy enough. If this is the type of engine where the power steering pump is direct-drive to the engine and the pump is capped off or pressure line clogged, that may load up the engine. Maybe you have other units connected to the engine or transmission that are loading up the engine after 3 seconds. Have you tried installing another battery right after the first one seems to die and see what happens? Have you disconnected the generator/alternator just to make sure it's not contributing to the problem? Just some thoughts. Have fun.

The front end center pin bushing was worn also so I ask that they replace it if they had time. Well, that’s wha
