1942 Case VAC

Hello i have a question about the steering linkage on a 1942 VAC. My grandpa owns two 1942 VAC's both with different steering linkages in the front of the tractor. One the arm makes a swooping bend and the other meets with a joint and a 90 degree angle. If someone could differentiate these two steering arms for me that would be nice. Thanks
