Hal, I think Tire Doctor up above is on the right track for you from what I found out looking through some of my old books. In a 1951 Farm Implement News Buyer's Guide found the Ottawa Mfg. Co., Ottawa, Kansas listed as making post hole diggers. Didn't find any pics or ads for their company or products though in other books I had either. Did find in another 1947 Tractor Field Book a ad telling about the Ottawa line of corn shellers and elevators made by King & Hamilton Co., Ottawa, Illinois. Makes no mention of them making post hole diggers though.
