Hey Deeretrax I was just wondering what part of northwest Iowa you're from...I'm from southeast South Dakota and go into your country quite a bit...I've also got a 2000 Dodge diesel but it has the automatic in it..but it still has more power than I'll ever need. I use it to haul cattle and it'll do over 80 right up and down hills on the Interstate with a full load of cattle, love that pickup. Had a 1994 Dodge diesel manual last year and that thing had just about as much power as my 2000, used it to haul more cattle and haul loads of hay that had over 17 round bales on it out of a swampy grassland and never had any trouble. About the flatbed well a lot of guys around here have them but I sure can't say what the best one would be, probably should just check out the ones you find and whatever is the heaviest duty go with it. There are some good ones out there like the ones that have the hydraulic round bale lift. Just my 2 cents worth, as they say... Josh
