like some others i would have either gone home or stayed and bid on anything i wanted family or no. that is why the things are called PUBLIC auctions anyone has a right to be a winning bidder on what they want seems to me what those family members were trying to pull is not legal. you say the law was there looks like they would have put a stop to that
