case 885

I found a case 885 today with a loader on it the only thing I seen on the loader was a 55 don"t know if part of 55 was missing, it had 3 pt. hitch looked like it had set out it"s whole life,no paint on fenders or hood grille missing everything else look like it was there,streight but rusty it was a diesel, he was not home talk to him on phone. he ask 2000.00 for it,if it runs ok what do you think,can any one tell me what years they made these,the hp.or had any bad problems.
