Dell is a profit oriented business like any other. All to common in American business is an attitude driven by sales. Make them think they are going to loose sales and all of a sudden, their concerned. I wonder if the result would have been the same had you not started a thread, got responses and then shown the company that you would place the issue in public concern. Lets look at the fact......they cost you more than you cost them. They already have your money....Your time is worth something.......they made you spend far to much time trying to resolve the issue with them. Yea....you hopefully will have your computer fixed soon, but wouldn't you rather do business with a company that didn't jerk you around first? You get what you pay for in most cases........no matter how good the machine winds up to be, I'd try a different machine next time........that's the only way you'll ever get there attention....WHEN SALES DROP...........then they'll have to change to survive.......
