blow torch

Need a functional blow torch in my shop. Does anyone out there have a schematic for the 1921 Clayton & Lambert gas fired torches?
Or, if not, can anyone tell me, is there a device, plug, or ball valve to prevent fire from being sucked back into the tank? While trying to disassemble an old one I bought something fell out of one of the passages when I removed a screw, and I never found it.
