You need to teach the kids not only how to do the work correctly, but also teach them about the correct tools, and how to properly use those tools. There is a right and wrong way for even something as simple as a screwdriver.
Most important, teach them why the tractor needs to be worked on in the first place, why does the engine burn oil? Why does the oil leak out onto the ground? Why are the rims rusted out? And the list goes on.
