Had em all. Still have my Dad's '63 Ford 1/2 ton that he drove off the lot , his first new truck. Chev or GMC 5 window, had them and loved them. My '90 1/2 ton Dodge 4x4, the only thing I have done to the engine after 237,000+ miles is change the water pump cuz it was leaking. Still has all the other factory original stuff that hangs on the block. Still starts and goes any time I want it to. My 2001 Dodge 1500 1/2 ton ( I think it's a 318, don't know anything about liters) drags my 2n Ford on it's bumper pull car hauler all over without a whimper. Are there any bad ones? Of course but there are a lot of good ones also. Had em all. LIke em all longs they are American.
