I laughed when I read your description of the older ones as "real tanks". I never thought of it that way before but it is a perfect description. How is the M4700 different? I am curious what was changed in the newer models to make them less of a tank. There are sites where people talk about Kubotas but they are all "compact" tractors and not of much help. I asked the Kubota dealer if I could get hold of a true workshop manual but he said I would need a second mortgage. I can't seem to find any other sources and googling on the different references doesn't turn up much response.
