Wife has been painting in the house. I went to bed the other night with 3 NG heaters and a couple of electric space heaters running in house and thought to myself, I will check all batteries tomorrow. Well, next evening after work, I went to check all detectors to find they had ALL been taken down and were in a box IN THE GARAGE. I went on a 30-45 minute rage and preached over and over how we are lucky to be here today. She got the point, probably 10 times over. I don"t ever like to yell at my wife but some things need to be emphasized. I went to big blue home improvement store next day and bought a couple extra to have them in every room. They are too cheap to not use them. (Carbon Monoxide detectors included).
