Wife and I stayed in...as usual...won't go into any details there! But oldest daughter went out against our better advice with soon to be SIL. Leaving the bar, a car was passing through the parking lot without it's lights on. Daughter tapped on windshield and helled "Turn your lights on!" Driver jumps out of car, pulls out what appeared to be a 9mm, chambers a round and starts fanning it towards the crowd of people leaving the bar, yelling "Who the $$$$ hit my car!" Needless to say, daughter was very shook up when she got home...might not be so inclined to hit the bar next New Years Eve. We are fortunate that everything is all right...we never thought we would have to worry about that kind of stuff in that area of town. Cops say the Gang stuff is really spreading and getting out of hand. Happy New Year!

For several years I had been driving by a farm house on the west side of Indianapolis that had a John Deere combine parked in high weeds in a lot behind the house. The gentleman no longer farmed because the entire area was developed with housing and light industry. I had stopped several times and knocked on the door but no one would answer.
