Case D188 crack between sleeves

The tractor is a Case 1960 631-L. The bearing went out on the #1 cylinder. When we removed the sleeves, we found crackes between the cylinders going down along side the sleeves. They extend down the full length of the upper casting. The cracks look old and I have used this tractor for 20 years, without any engine problems ( no coolant in the oil or engine leaks of any kind)I would appreciate any help I can get on determining if this block can be repaired or if it is considered junk. If it can be repaired, what you have found to be the best fix for this motor. Stubob
