I'll have to go along with Bob and Mike. I've had Dodges since the late 70'S and if there is a better truck, none of the people I know has found it..
My son has a 93' with 165000 mile on the origonal auto. Did I mention it is a 1 ton dump, pulls his 11,000lb skidsteer/trailer all over the state.
Good Sam's club had a contest trying to find the most trouble free tow vehicle, and the dodge 3500 with the cummins won hands down.It's hard for me to believe that so many people have found the few dodges with bad auto's, and so many have found the few 6.0 powerstrokes with injecter problems and so many have found the few duramax's that had problems.
Any deisel from the big 3 will give you years of trouble free service if treated right. I love my dodge, but I don't think every thing else is junk just because someone said that someone said that someone knew someone's cousin had a Ford/Chevy/Dodge that was giving them problems.
