That thing does have a mean stance with all that rubber. Shoot makes me want to set behind the wheel of one of those old red tractor (don't tell my brother I said that though). As far as the 686 Mark?? is looking at, you are right about getting the work done for that price. If that 686 is in the condition that he describes it will give years of hard work.
