John, Hi Tack is resistant to fuel but it just depends on where or what you are trying to seal. Sometimes if the casting is eroded away and a washer won't seal on it I build up the worn or pitted casting with JB weld and then file or grind it down so washer will seal good then. Either way you need to let them cure for 24 hours plus before letting fuel contact it again.
