I went the same route that your wife has went. No table though. I ruptured my disc april, 2005. 4 chiro's-- nothing. 2 epidurels-- nothing. Very long and painful summer. 8 hour day at work just about killed me. Went to the University of Iowa Hospitals on october 11. Had back surgery october 18 at 2:15 pm, the next day I walked out by 11:30 am... NO pain! Haven't been back to work yet, weight restriction of 20 pds. I work in a machine shop, used to lift 40-50 pds. all day long. Go back to work jan. 2. Best thing I ever did.
