Ok, what does the new one do? My new one did not work at first, so I checked the underhood fuse box, wiper fuse, pulled it out and was a tiny bit corroded, cleaned it up a little, spayed some P.B. Blaster in the fuse holder, put the fuse back in, and presto, I have a rear wiper, and yes, my old wiper motor was frozen up. You could possibly have blown the switch on the dash?
