Not only at auctions but at private sales. I was lookind at an 8n (For sale by owner) that had a "dupont overhaul" and needed a new rear wheel and tire and new rubber on the front trying to get the person down to a more reasonable price as we all know they are selling for $1000 to $2000 for a real good one not needing much work when this Amish looking guy with a black hat and beard and cane shelled out about $2500 for it and asked if it could be delivered some where in Tecumseh.The tractor was worth $1800 tops so he must have wanted it real bad or just had money to burn.I guess what i'm trying to say is that just drives up the price for us people that are just trying to get buy and have something we can afford to work on
